Book Review- The Last Lecture

I knew after reading the introduction I was going to be wrapped up in this book. Randy Pausch, decides to leave his young children with a tangible item filled with memories, life lessons, and what he would have taught them if he lived to be around throughout their teens and adulthood. I was immediately touched thinking how amazing of a gift this would be to the 3 of his children once they were old enough to appreciate the words left behind intentionally by their deceased father that they never really got the opportunity to know. We've heard final thoughts from those on their deathbed, but this was the first time I've read from someone dying of terminal cancer who had months to really think about what they have learned in life and the messages of utmost important to pass on to your loved ones. Randy reminds the reader that time is all we have, and many times we have less than we think so you are inspired to live a happy & purposeful life.

Next up on my reading list, "The Obstacle Is The Way" by Ryan Holiday
